Peter Jeffries
Managing Director
Peter is a respected senior Pinikura man who has lived and worked all his life in the Pilbara. He has extensive experience in executive management roles in the Indigenous and mining sectors, as well as in emergency services management and the WA Police Force. Peter is also an engaging presenter to community, government, corporate and tourist groups regarding local cultural matters.
Peter has strong local connections through descendency, plus 30 years in the lore as participant and leader throughout the region. A spokesman and role model for Aboriginal boys and men, Peter is known at lore grounds across the Pilbara and the Kimberley for his cultural knowledge and collaborative approach. He has access to senior elders when needed for knowledge or experience appropriate to an issue or region.
Through cultural succession, Peter aims to develop strong young Aboriginal men who are confident and responsible in their respective families, communities and workplaces. By strengthening the understanding and practice of lore & culture, young men can develop pride in their cultural identity with a positive effect on those around them. This benefits organisations that are seeking assurance in their social responsibilities to operate in the Pilbara region.
